Step two: ProfileStep two: ProfileWhile you are logged in, click on the 'Profile' link at the top right hand site of the page. Here you can upload an avatar which must be 50x50pixels in size. If you have an avatar to upload do so and then click on the 'User Page Display' tab. Now fill in which details you want people to see. If you leave a field blank, the field simply won't exist on your user page, so enter as much or as little as you like. After that, click the OK button in the bottom right hand corner.
You should get a welcome message from deviantART encouraging you to click the browse button and start browsing, but start by going to your user page. You can do this by clicking on your user name or avatar wherever it appears on the page. You can also goto anyone else's page by dong the same. Your page should look pretty blank at the moment, but we'll soon fix that!
